In upper arm support, the gymnast’s arms should be bent roughly 90 degrees. They should hold onto the bars tightly, and maintain a straight body.

The starting position for this exercise is in upper arm support. The gymnast should press down on the bars with their arms, moving their body upwards. Next, the gymnast should relax their arm pressure and let their body move downward. For optimal results, perform this drill with multiple sets and high repetitions.
